What the check tells you
A valid result means the IBAN is well formed: right country code, right length for Poland, and check digits that match. It cannot confirm the account exists or who owns it; banks in the euro area check the payee name when you pay.

Poland is in the SEPA area, but its accounts are mostly held in Polish zloty (PLN), not euro. SEPA transfers are euro payments, so check with your bank how a euro payment to a Polish account is converted.
